This street urchin became the first in my "India Rising" Series. A friend sent a photo of a homeless orphan; a toddler, roaming the streets of India. My heart went out in compassion. In India, crows are considered harbingers of death. House crows in India have more gray on their bodies than American crows and are very prevalent.
